Magical, mystical, perhaps scary? This unique piece takes you to a dark wooded forest dimly lit only by the half-moon light. What ventures await? Written in the key of E minor, 4/4 time throughout, with a few chromatic passages in the 1st Violin part, there are off beats, hooked bows, two-note slurs, accents, Cello arpeggios, and détaché and legato bow strokes, with many fun skills to reinforce. Have your students visualize a story to go with the mysterious music!
