Description

Recorded in 1971 by the Count Basie Orchestra on the album Have A Nice Day, this Nestico classic opens with a short ensemble blast at fortissimo-plus before two trombones (1st and 2nd) present the main theme as a dynamic duo. Then 3rd Trombone carries an improvised solo chorus, followed by an ensemble section and a replay of the trombone duo. The chart closes out with short ad lib solos — 1st Trombone, then 2nd Trombone — over a sustained ensemble chord.
