Commissioned by the Wheeling High School (IL) Jazz Band directed by Brian Logan, this chart is the opening movement of a suite written in memory of music educator Bill Carroll. Bristling with excitement from beginning to end, this blues-based swing journey is loaded with solid ensemble work.
