Adapted from Carl Maria von Weber’s original operatic scoring for men’s chorus with horn quartet accompaniment, this challenging pair of selections from Der Freischutz and Euryanthe feature five distinct musical styles depicting songs of the German Hunting Societies of the early 19th century.
