Description
This popular tune composed by Billy Strayhorn is adapted for grade 4+ AATB Saxophone quartet. It contains many elements from the original Duke Ellington recording, including the introduction that Duke played on Piano and a quote from the lead-in to the Trumpet solo. All players are featured at one time or another, making this arrangement one that should be in every Saxophone quartet’s library.
