This imaginative setting of Jingle Bells takes listeners on a Christmas journey around the world by presenting the song in the musical styles of several countries — Mexico, Japan, Austria, Scotland and the good ol’ U.S.A. Using the optional narration adds to the overall appeal, and the optional percussion instruments (jingle bells, castanets, suspended cymbal, maracas, tambourine, snare drum, bass drum) greatly enhance the nationalistic flavor of each segment.
