Roland Brom

Upon graduation from Drake University in Des Moines, IA, with undergraduate and graduate degrees in music education, he served the next 31 years as a director of bands in Iowa public schools. The final 26 years of his teaching career were spent in Waverly, where his band program flourished and won many state and regional honors.

Since retiring from teaching, Roland has studied privately with Dr. Gary White of Iowa State University and Dr. Paul Fetler of the University of Minnesota.
