Robert H. Nagel

A native of Buffalo, NY, he majored in percussion and music education at the University of Buffalo, where he earned his BFA and Master of Education degrees before pursuing a teaching career. He taught elementary and middle school instrumental music in the Buffalo School District from 1964-1995. During this time he formed his own recording service, Audio Art Educational Recordings, which he used to record many stereo albums of his student bands and orchestras.

Highlights of his professional career as a drummer and percussionist include performances in a variety of Western New York venues including the Fantasy Island Theater, Melody Fair Summer Theater, Ice Capades, Studio Arena Theater. He has also played road tours with singers John Gary and Vic Damone.

Bob currently works as a freelance drummer and enjoys making compilation recordings of the bands with whom he performs.
