Robert Dalpiaz

Robert Dalpiaz received a Bachelor of Music Degree from Ithaca College and a Master of Music Degree in performance from SUNY Stony Brook with additional studies at Central Connecticut State University.

As an educator, Robert taught 33 years in the Brentwood (NY) School District where the Brentwood High School Jazz Ensemble was twice selected as a finalist in the Essentially Ellington Jazz Competition at Lincoln Center and the Brentwood High School Wind Ensemble consistently received Gold and Gold With Distinction ratings at state festivals for two decades. Additionally Robert was Director of Bands at Usdan Center for the Performing Arts for four years. As a conductor, Robert has had the privilege of performing at such renowned venues as Carnegie Hall, Avery Fischer and Alice Tully Halls. He has been a consistent clinician in several Long Island schools and has conducted several All-County and Honor Music Festivals throughout the Northeast.

Robert has a varied career as a woodwind performer. He performs in many regional theaters on Long Island and Off-Broadway productions. Robert has performed with the Long Island Concert Pops, Opera on the Sound, and the Atlantic Wind Symphony. He has performed numerous solo and chamber recitals at various venues throughout Long Island including performances with the Sirocco Woodwind Quintet and the Clarion Winds.
