Gordon Brisker

A graduate of the Cincinnati Conservatory of Music and Boston’s Berklee College, his career credits as performer and writer included Woody Herman, Louie Bellson, Stanley Clark, Artie Shaw, Lionel Hampton, Bobby Shew, Herb Pomeroy, Rosemary Clooney, Airto, Jack DeJohnette and more. As a big band leader, Gordon recorded three albums: Collective Consciousness (Sutra Records), Cornerstone (Sea Breeze), and About Charlie (Discovery Records). He also recorded with jazz greats Bobby Shew, Freddie Hubbard, Jack DeJohnette, and Airto.
