David Hinds

David Hinds (1949-2025) received his BME degree from West Texas A&M University and MME from the University of North Texas. He taught both band and orchestra on the middle school and high school levels in Amarillo, TX and played in the Amarillo Symphony during his teaching career. After retirement David conducted the Amarillo College Chamber Orchestra and the AC Suzuki Orchestra. He was active as an adjudicator for UIL orchestra contests and served as a regional orchestra conductor/clinician.
