Andrew Balent

Andrew Balent has had over 600 published compositions and arrangements for band, orchestra, chorus, and instrumental ensembles since his first publication in 1968. He taught in the elementary through high school levels for 30 years in Michigan and so has specialized in writing for young musicians. Mr. Balent received both his Bachelor’s and Masters’s degrees from the University of Michigan. In 2020 he was awarded the Edwin Franko Goldman Memorial Citation by the American Bandmasters Association.
