A. Bradford DeMilo

An active French Horn performer and educator since 1964, Brad holds a Bachelor of Arts in Music Education from Hofstra University (NY), a Master of Arts in Composition as well as a Professional Diploma in Educational Administration from Long Island University (NY). He has taught music at all levels, and was a band director for 38 years in the Farmingdale Public School (NY). He is currently on the faculty of Adelphi University, Nassau Community College, and Usdan Center for the Creative and Performing Arts where he teaches advanced horn and conducts the Junior Bands. Mr. DeMilo has studied horn with Harry Shapiro of the Boston Symphony, Arthur Berv of the NBC Symphony, Joseph Singer of the NY Philharmonic, and Richard Moore of the Metropolitan Opera. He is a freelance performer on Long Island (NY), appearing frequently in major venues with the Nassau Symphony, the Symphony of Long Island, the NY Virtuosi, Concert Pops of Long Island, and the Long Island Brass Guild. He founded and has directed the Farmingdale Village Pops, an adult community band, for over thirty years.
