Description

The title for this chart comes from the repeated eighth notes that occur on beat one throughout the piece. A swinging excursion in D minor that your students will have a great time playing. There is a written solo in Trumpet 1 that is cued in Trumpet 2, and an optional improvised solo for Trumpets 3 & 4. An eight measure Alto Sax solo is followed by a rousing shout chorus.
