Description
This grade 4+ Timpani solo incorporates a variety of rhythms from both Latin and funk music – very common in drum set playing. In a sense, the Timpanist has to think both like a solo Timpanist as well as a drum set player. The name of this solo comes from the composers home town of Rochester (NY) – the Flower City.
