Description
This sequel features eight pieces for groups ranging in size from 4 to 7 players. As in Houliff’s first set for young percussionists, this one features a good mix of styles including jazz, rock, Latin, funk, classical, and contemporary. Scoring requirements call for common instruments only; when mallet parts are involved, several options are given so directors can use whichever instrument(s) they have on hand.
