Deadline Shuffle – Full Score

Description

More advanced groups have come to know that Mike Tomaro’s name on a piece means that the music is of the highest quality. Now musicians at the medium level can explore Mike’s talents as well. This straight-ahead swing chart lets everyone get in on the action. There is plenty of full ensemble work throughout the chart, and the open solo sections provide plenty of space for blowing. A superb choice for concert or festival.

Program Notes

I’ve become infamous with Doug Beach for barely making writing deadlines in the past; “Deadline Shuffle” was written in honor of that (of course, true to form, it barely made it).
