Kendor Music Publishing and Doug Beach Music Announce New Jazz Ensemble Music

A new catalog of Jazz Ensemble music has arrived from Kendor Music Publishing and Doug Beach Music for 2026-27. The release consists of over 30 original works and arrangements for Jazz Ensemble, and free, interactive online resources to help directors with music selection and teaching, as well as brand new time and money-saving Ready Sets options. A wide range of Jazz styles are represented, with technical levels spanning grades 1 through 4.
“When we choose music for the Kendor Music Publishing and Doug Beach Music catalogs, a lot of effort goes into ensuring that students not only learn to play and appreciate these styles, but enjoy doing so,” says Kendor Music Publishing Jazz and Instrumental Editor Blair Bielawski. “Our composers and staff want you and your students to keep making music together, and will be honored if that choice includes playing any of these incredible charts. There are many solid works to help young and intermediate musicians sound their best, as well as impressive charts for more advanced ensembles.”
Kendor Music Publishing’s 2026-2027 new release includes original and arranged charts from composers Kris Berg, Peter Blair, Vince Gassi, Dave Hanson, Jeff Jarvis, Clifton Jones, Sammy Nestico, Eric Richards, Jamie Roth, Craig Skeffington, Terry White, and Greg Yasinitsky. Doug Beach Music’s 2026-27 release features composers Doug Beach, George Shutack, Mike Tomaro, and Bret Zvacek.
Kendor Music Publishing’s interactive online resources make music selection easy. Directors can access free professional recordings and ScoreVideos for each new chart, as well as newly added digital program notes that can be quickly copied and pasted into concert programs. Professional recordings of the new music are streaming on all major platforms and the publisher’s website. All these resources can be used as tools for students in the classroom at any time. The scores in this collection are thoughtfully edited and engraved with ease of reading and accessibility at the forefront. Kendor Music Publishing’s catalog is organized with the following color-coded series names: Quest (1), Gateway (1.5), Trek (2), Journey (3), and Summit (4 and up). These categories delineate grade levels, helping directors select the most appropriate music for their ensembles.
Kendor Music Publishing’s 2026–2027 Jazz Ensemble music releases are available from music retailers and the publisher.
